FORBA is an independent non-profit making research institute founded in 1991 with the aim of conducting interdisciplinary research in the fields of work, technology and training. FORBA aims to enhance understanding about changes in working life and improvement in working conditions by using consultation and training to disseminate their research findings. FORBA specialises in research on working life and in particular focuses on work organisation and conditions, personnel management, technology design and implementation, equal opportunities, economic globalisation and industrial relations.
